Native American Holocaust Museum

Wounded Knee

No single building  houses evidence of the genocide on the North and South American continent. One should be built by the federal government to acknowledge the crimes against humanity committed by the governments of the American continent.  The most complete archive concerning the genocidal campaign to eradicate the indigenous peoples of the Americas can by found at  The University of Minnesota.  Currently only a virtual museum-- NAHM of Houston Texas--chronicles genocide in the Americas.  Philip Greenspan makes a compelling argument in his article "A Genocide Museum for the U.S." on Swans, and Cater Camp has openly called for such a museum since 1999: Hiding Genocide: The National Museum of the American Indian.
