The Genocide Mechanism

  by Gerard Donnelly Smith

Whereas the Jewish people survived attempted genocide, numerous First Nations did not. The Native peoples of the Western Hemisphere are not one people, not one nation, not of one faith. To the contrary, the First Nation Peoples have myriad cultures, languages, and religions. The Western Hemisphere was home to great civilizations which rivaled the Egyptians; these civilizations and many of the distinct ethnic groups within them did not  survive the American holocaust.  These pages are dedicated to their sacrifice, and stand "against forgetting."  Following are the seven stages of genocide that represent the genocide mechanism.

Invasion

Conquest

Redefinition

Removal

Extermination
