Bibliography Checkpoint

Present a 15-item bibliography of works that you are SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING for your paper.  From the list of 15 works will come at least 8 of the items you use on your annotated bibliography.  On items 9 and 10, either I will designate two works that MUST be used as items 9 and 10, OR I will provide you works that must be included in the annotated bibliography.

Late Paper Policy

No late bibliography checkpoints will be accepted for graded credit.  However, you must submit a bibliography checkpoint by February 4 in order to be eligible to stay in the class.  Otherwise, you will be asked to withdraw for lack of progress.

Format

All entries need to be in MLA style.  The bibliography should be double-spaced, and you should use one-inch margins and 10-point Courier as your font.

Grading

Students will be graded on completeness of submission, not correctness of format.  15 entries=A; 14 entries=B; 13 entries=C; 12 entries=D; less than 12=F.
