HHL 103

This is a spirited survey of women writers from the late 18th through the 20th Century with an emphasis on 20th Century writers.

We combine analysis of literary criticism, narrative conventions, and rebellious literary texts and films to explore the ways in which women have been limited by social and literary conventions and the ways they have transgressed those limits.

The reading load is reasonable, the assignments are focused and enlightening, and the discussions will be lively.  Join in the fun!
